The Best Way to Explore Manali, Himachal Pradesh in 03 Nights / 04 Days
I am a tour operator and a travel blogger. I have travelled to Manali around 15 to 16 times in the last eight years, and it’s also a destination where I love to write a lot because there are several things to explore by the tourist.

How to plan A Manali Volvo Trip in 03 nights / 04 Days
As per my experience, you should book the tour package through a travel consultant. Because they entirely know the destination. You are going to visit the first time in your life.
In my impression, planning a Manali Volvo trip of 03 nights / 04 Days is enough for the Manali Volvo trip because in that you can cover all major tourist spots where you can enjoy.
Tour itinerary: Delhi to Visit Manali
Day 01:- Delhi – Manali Overnight journey By Volvo
The trip will start from Delhi around 05:30 pm from R.K Ashram Metro station. You may get several Volvo buses standing there. But don’t need to be confused because every bus runs according to their time. You will get the contact person number in advance by your tour operator or an online portal to approach for the bus.

The journey will be for 600 Km (12-14 hrs), and all buses running on this route are semi-sleeper and push back.
Volvo stop for the dinner
Every Volvo bus will be stopped either near Murthal or before Chandigarh for dinner. You will get a half-hour to 40 minutes to complete your dinner after that overnight journey to Manali.

Day 02:- Manali Arrival
Morning around 6 I reach Mandi for breakfast and fresh n up. I would personally recommend you to don’t have anything there. Because they serve stale food to the tourists even they charge more for that as well.
(I had tasted the cuisine of the beas hotel in Mandi. It was pathetic. I will not recommend anybody, and the maximum Volvo driver will stop the vehicle there.)
Mandi to Manali (120 kms / 4 hrs)
Volvo bus reaches Manali bus stand around 9 am, and I had already booked my taxi for 03 days sightseeing. I will recommend you do the same with your trustable travel agent or online. Because if you book through an online portal, nobody will assist in the morning if you don’t get a call from a customer care executive.
My driver dropped me at the hotel fern residency, which I’d already booked through Think Go Travels, and I did rest at the hotel till 2 pm. After that my drive came to pick me for the Sightseeing.

I didn’t want to make my journey hectic that is why I just did four sightseeing on day one, which was close to each other. I had already travelled for 14 hrs to reach Manali from Delhi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Always do less Sightseeing on day one because our body also takes time to accumulate in the weather of hill station if we are from the metro city.
Day 3 Manali- Snow Point – Manali
Everyone wants to be a witness of live snowfall in Manali as I wanted the same. Whenever manali receives the snow, the whole area looks like Switzerland because of the White Mountains and pine trees looks more beautiful than earlier. I am referring to the image below.
I had travelled to Manali in December.
So I was highly expecting a live snowfall even though I had already checked the weather before booking for Manali. My driver had assisted me at the hotel, and we’re moving toward Solang Valley (Snow Point). While driving my driver informed me that there is a possibility of receiving snowfall today at Solang valley because yesterday night there was rainfall in the upper Rohtang pass area.
Driver advise work well
He notified me whenever rohtang acquired rainfall. There might be a possibility of snowfall after that. While discussing all the snow, we had just passed over the Nehru Kund, and suddenly 2-3 snowflakes were brought down on the front glass of our car.
Curiosity to visit the live snowfall in manali
I wanted to get down immediately and enjoy the snow. But my driver suggested I wait for the maximum half an hour we are about to reach Solang valley where I can enjoy the snow activities as well. Reached Solang Valley and had much fun with my friends
It was an incredible feeling when I arrived at the solang valley because everything was looking white and adorable.

It was a happy day I spent in Solang Valley, and after that, I just reached back to my hotel and relaxed for some time. Our resort had already organized a bonfire and music for the guest. After dinner, we enjoyed that and slept.
Day 04:- Himachal boy advised impressed me (Himalayan Fish Farm and old Villages of Manali)
I got ready around nine in the morning and went for breakfast, as usual. While having breakfast we all friends were discussing the sightseeing of day three looking to go for Manikaran Sahib Ji Gurudwara and Kullu manali.

Suddenly my friend asked the hotel waiter brother what can we explore more which is still unseen in Manali by several tourists? We had already been to a local snow point. He replied us to visit the Himalayan Fish farm and a Chamunda Devi Temple with nearby old villages of Manali.
Never heard the name of tourist spots in Manali.
I was surprised to hear that because I’d never listened to those places’ names in the Sightseeing of Manali. What next we called our driver and asked him about Sightseeing. He said I know about the sites, but we never took the tourists there because we are providing local +Snow Point + Kullu Naggar or Manikaran Sightseeing to the guests.
Chamunda Devi Temple in Nishala Village
After breakfast, we all went for Sightseeing, and we had started from Chamunda Devi Temple, which is in the Nishala Village. The temple is situated approx. 30 km from the main Manali and here I had seen the real natural beauty which I was exploring from a long time to see.

The sky blue colour wall of the temple and head were red. I could not visit the temple from inside because I reached there in the afternoon. So the temple was about to open after 4:00 pm. I could not wait there for more time, so I moved to my next place is Himalayan Fish Farm. After a hectic and memorable day, we came back to our hotel and relaxed.

Day 05 Alarm of Volvo Bus around 4 Pm (Manali to Delhi)
It was a day when we had to say goodbye to Manali. But nobody wanted to go home because we didn’t get the fresh air and vibes in Delhi. Manali air is too pure, and you can take a long breath there and it will also heal your heart and make the mind stronger.
We packed our bags and were ready to move for the mall road, and after that, we had caught the Volvo from Volvo stand, which is 1 km from Manali mall road.
The car provides the only dropping
The last day driver only provided the dropping in Volvo package, so we asked our driver to drop us till the mall road where we did some shopping and after that moved to Volvo stand around 03:45 pm because we had to reach Volvo stand at 4:00 pm without any failure.
Day 06: Morning around 06:00 pm dropped
Volvo dropped us in the morning around six in the morning at the I.S.B.T. Kashmiri Gate.

Plan a Manali Volvo trip? Some important things to know before your book or start your journey
1. Reach at the Volvo point on time otherwise; you might miss you Volvo.
2. Book your Volvo seat in prior otherwise; you might get the last place where you will not be comfortable
3. Best seats number 20 to 30.
4. Travelling in summer then must the book Rohtang pass in prior otherwise? You might miss the chance to explore that.
5. If you are honeymooner, then choose a hotel at least 3 km away from the mall road. Because in season only horn can listen due to heavy traffic.
6. Carry a water bottle with you. Because sometimes you could not receive water bottle in Volvo
7. Carry a small blanket with you if possible in winter because Volvo blankets make a smell.
8. Don’t drink alcohol in the Volvo because the driver has the authority to Debord you anytime if you miss behaving with other tourists.
9. Don’t bring any intoxicant things with you. Sometimes Volvo can be checked by police staff.
10. Try to do adventure sports on a direct basis because there is the maximum possibility to make bargaining.
